With summer approaching, I have been craving watermelon again. It’s sweet, refreshing, and healthy! Who knew that watermelon could also do wonders for our skin? Watermelon is packed with antioxidants like vitamins A and C, as well as lycopene. When you eat this delicious fruit next, save some of it for a natural and hydrating mask! Here is a great cleansing mask that I like to use:
- 2 Cups of watermelon (remove the seeds)
- Clean bowl
Add two cups of mashed watermelons into a clean bowl. Next, apply the pulp of the watermelon to your clean skin. Let it sit for about ten minutes. Rub the mixture in circular motions to gently cleanse your skin. The natural fruit acids in watermelon will also help your skin to exfoliate. Lastly, rinse the refreshing mask off with cool water.
